In case the brake pads cannot be installed due to a narrow clearance, we advise using the hydraulic brake piston press tool provided in the package to push the piston back. Additionally, when replacing the brake pads of a hydraulic brake, it is essential not to pinch the brake handle after removing the old brake pads, as this can cause the piston to fall off and leak oil.

To maintain the optimal performance of the brake system, we recommend adjusting the clearance between the disc and the brake pads on both sides using the clearance adjuster. For wire-controlled brake calipers, the clearance can be adjusted by adjusting the screws on the back of the caliper.

If the brake makes a strange noise, it may indicate that the brake disc is dirty with oil. In such cases, we suggest using a special disc cleaner to clean the disc or, if necessary, replacing the disc.
